There’s something so magical about Arizona’s desert landscapes, and Morgan and Grayson’s engagement session at Butcher Jones in Mesa, AZ, completely captured that magic. The golden sunlight, the rugged desert scenery—it all came together so perfectly, making their session feel like something straight out of a dream.

I’m so lucky to be their wedding photographer and even more excited to capture their Sedona wedding next spring in 2025! Their big day is going to be stunning, with Sedona’s red rocks as the backdrop for what I know will be an emotional and unforgettable celebration.

Morgan and Grayson are absolute sweethearts (literally—they’re high school sweethearts!). You can just tell they’re best friends by the way they laugh with each other and how natural they are together. One moment they’re cracking up, and the next they’re sharing the sweetest little glance. It’s the kind of love that feels easy and genuine, and it’s such a joy to photograph.

Butcher Jones was the perfect spot, with gorgeous views, warm light, and just enough privacy for those quiet, intimate moments. It was so fun seeing them totally in their element, and the way Grayson looks at Morgan—ugh, heart-melting!
